The Welsh Assembly Government has said that every county in Wales must produce a plan, stating how we are going to improve the lives of children and young people. The purpose of the plan is to bring together some local and national plans into one main clear plan, so that we can work together to deliver all services needed by children, young people and their families in a way that makes sense.
The Children & Young People's Partnership has looked at evidence and listened to the views of children, young people, parents and professionals. Working in partnership they have produced a strategic plan. This plan sets out how services will be provided by all agencies who work with Children & Young People over the next three years, including the Voluntary Sector, Health, Education and Social Services.
The Children & Young People's Plan covers a wide range of issues laid out in the '7 Core Aims' developed by the Welsh Assembly Government.
