Will also provide information on the different themed partnerships where the plans for our communities are being developed. We hope to ensure that all residents, members of the public, businesses, voluntary services and organisations with an interest in Conwy can be involved in community developments, share ideas, and have a voice in the formation and delivery of community plans for Conwy.
Who are "We"? - The Benefits of Partnership Working
The development of Community Plans is not the responsibility of one particular organisation. They are developed by a cross-section of residential, organisational, voluntary & business groups and interests. These different groups work together to provide a better Conwy, ensuring that we are able to work for our communities and meet their needs. For more information, and details of membership organisations, please refer to the links to Conwy's partnership areas.
Why Have a Community Strategy?
All local authorities are required to produce a Community Strategy. They are expected to work in partnership with a variety of agencies and communities to promote the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of their area. Local authorities now also have a Power of Wellbeing - this power allows us to work in new ways with partner agencies.
Through this partnership approach, we hope the plans and actions arising from them will benefit everyone in Conwy.
